After informing this playground friend, "We're identical!" the boy's mother asked me, "Is he three? Three year olds don't say 'identical.'"
I'm kind of regretting teaching him that word, now that all day long he is either asking "why?!?!?" or "is that identical or just similar?"
Between the constant questions, the social learning ("mama! sit here and play NOW") and his eagerness to make new friends on the playground, we're perfectly primed for preschool! Two more weeks... He's only going for 2 mornings a week, but I know he's going to LOVE it!
