Lily's day on the town

Lily and I went into the city today to meet daddy for her hip ultrasound. We got a coffee downtown, rode the train to the hospital in midtown, and were delighted to fin out that her hips are as perfect as can be! She was SO well behaved for the test and got compliments from the radiologist. Of course.

She and I played hooky for the rest of the day, since Jacob was with the babysitter. We walked around the Village, went to a couple bookstores, did some shopping, and relaxed in the park. It was some very special mommy/daughter bonding time. Thanks, Zach, for financing our outing! New York is just fabulous when the sun is out and the humidity is low. Here's hoping that trend continues!
