Jacob had a wonderful birthday! On Saturday, we had a party with all of his playgroup friends here in the backyard. We kept it simple with bagels, fruit, a train cake, and an abundance of fun toys. Everyone seemed to have a wonderful time, especially the birthday boy, who ran from one person to the next, playing and excitedly telling them about his toys, trucks, and cake.
On Tuesday, Jacob's actual birthday, we had a quiet day with Mommy, Daddy (who was working from home) and Grandma. He opened some presents, ate a cupcake, and went on a special date with Mommy to get a treat and visit the fire station (a favorite destination).
We love Jacob so much and can't wait to see what "two" brings!
