I realize that all of my recent posts (sporadic though they may be) feature snow. That's because snow is pretty much all we have going on in our lives right now. We've had about 36" in the last month, and since it isn't getting any warmer than 35 degrees, it's all still on the ground. That means the stroller doesn't get around too great, and since Mommy is now in her third trimester, we are pretty much limited to the places within two or three blocks of our house that Jacob can walk on his own. Or, more frequently, walk TO on his own and then get carried back on Mommy's shoulders. Walking in the snow takes it out of a young man!!!!
But despite the inconvenience, the snow is beautiful and most days are warm enough that we can at least go on a walk a play in the drifts. We are DEFINITELY looking forward to spring, but we're trying to make the most of the winter while it's here.
These pics are from this weekend. Zach is out of town for a friend's wedding, so Mama and Jacob are on our own and we decided to head up to the park, stretch our legs, and watch all the kids sledding.
Maybe next year Jacob can do some sledding himself.
