When I was pregnant with Jacob, I always told everyone, "I'm not going to be a controlling parent - he can be any kind of dancer he wants to be!" He wasn't very interested in dancing for a long time, so I had given up the dream, but now he has the bug in his pants and he can't stop dancing!

Lily has actually started saying "Daddy" and "hi," but usually when she's playing with a phone. Even if Daddy is sitting right there. We did a lot of video-calling over his trip, and apparently it made quite the impression!

Daddy has been gone for over 5 days, and we miss him terribly! The kids have been on their best behavior, but we sure are glad he's on a plane on the way home to us!
